ICF Associate Certified Coach
Empowering executives and emerging leaders to navigate complexity, lead with clarity, and achieve meaningful, lasting results.
Janis Mullaney brings four decades of leadership experience at the National Institutes of Health to her coaching practice. A former member of the federal Senior Executive Service, she served as Executive Officer and Associate Director for Administrative Management across several NIH Institutes, directing large-scale operations that supported thousands of staff and multi-billion-dollar research budgets.
From 2015 to 2025, Janis served as Senior Advisor to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, guiding executives and senior managers through the full range of leadership and organizational challenges. She helped launch NCATS, contributed to the creation of NIH's Executive Leadership Program, and was a frequent invited speaker on leadership and organizational effectiveness.
Today, Janis partners with executives, senior managers, and high-potential leaders who are ready to elevate their impact. From Southport, North Carolina, she offers a confidential, supportive space to clarify vision, strengthen executive presence, and develop the strategic thinking that drives lasting results.
